Objectives
Upon completing this course, participants are expected to:
- Understand the fundamental concepts related to the different types of well logs and formation tests,
- Develop skills to interpret the types of fluids present in the formation based on profiles,
- Learn how to calculate fluid saturation and evaluate the productive capacity of reservoir.
Content
- Fundamentals of open hole well logs, logging environment, basic logs (GR, SP, Resistivity, Density, Neutronic),
- Special well logs (RG Spectrometry, Imaging, MRI and LWD).
- Understanding Production Profiles (Production Logging Tool - PLT, Flowmeter, Temperature, Capacitance, etc.).
- Notions of Formation Test.
Who should participate
Geologists, geophysicists and engineers working in the exploration and production of hydrocarbons.
