Objectives

Upon completing this course, participants are expected to:

• Understand the basic concepts of structural geology and tectonics,
• Understand the role of plate tectonics in forming sedimentary basins and their structural styles,
• Acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to recognize the structural style of the basins where they are working.
